Visiting a new place, especially a “church,” can be a bit intimidating. To help alleviate some of that anxiousness and help relax you a bit, here are 6 things to prepare you for what to expect:
Where do I go?
We meet at the WSU Metroplex right on the corner of 29th and Oliver.
Do I need to dress up?
You can, but most will be dressed casually. Jeans are the norm, so just be comfortable.
The building is big!
The parking lot is big too! If you come in from 29th, don’t panic, you’re in the right place. Parking is in the big lot behind the building (on south side of building). Just watch for the orange flags and the friendly guys in the parking lot, they will direct you. Once inside, enjoy some coffee and maybe a snack until service time, which starts promptly at 10:00.
What about children?
We have awesome, safe environments for kids birth to 3rd grade. If you have kids, allow a few extra minutes to check out the children’s area. You will be met by a vetted, passionate, and trained children’s leadership team! Once comfortable, you can check your children in. You will never be more than 25 feet or so away from you child. How long is the Sunday morning experience?
We start promptly at 10:00 a.m. and the experience concludes usually by 11:05 a.m.
What happens during the Sunday morning experience?
We usually start with some music, followed by a 30ish minute talk designed to positively and profoundly impact your life. It’s more than just information. Our desire is to see you thrive in life and help address your important questions about God, faith and how it all impacts day to day life.
